Foals : Holy Fire

Foals have revealed that the name of their new album is ‘Holy Fire’.

The album, which is set for release in early 2013, will be the Oxford band’s third following debut album ‘Antidotes’ and 2010′s ‘Total Life Forever’. Band member Edwin Congreave took the band’s official Facebook page today (October 19) to update fans on the album name, saying the album is “coming soon”. They wrote:

big news from our thirrrd rekid. namely: the name. It’s called HOLY FIRE. It’s like meaningful or something. dig it, or don’t. either way it’s coming soon. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for our mini tour this winter. like we said elsewhere it is only a tease, and for us to get back “into it”, so don’t stress if you missed out, or if we weren’t coming near to your home… because there will be many, many more shows coming up.

Update, “Holy Fire’ will land on British shores on Feb 11th 2013. First single Inhaler is posted below.

    I hope this album is as good as I expect it to be. But I kinda get the feeling that their brand of dance punk has expired :/

      Clearly there isn’t the loop of the first albums, but i think that the change of sound will bring interesting things!

      My Number and Inhaler are two great songs.

    For anyone who’s wondering, I can confirm it has leaked. As the report states, it was one What but was removed due to its low bitrate.

    Remember, we don’t allow links to downloads! Or a site/blog who shares illegal MP3 downloads.

    Seems like everybody is stuck in the 90%< including me. Hopefully it pops up somewhere else soon, really can't wait for this release!

    the russian path is right! i found it as the first (latest) entry on this Indie Birdie blog as one of the previous comments said! even if i don’t know cirillic charachters, i managed to get to the correct mirror (the one in the middle of the three buttuns with a chick on them above the 128kb/s writing)..there you just have to click Download (written in romans!!) buttun… downloading .. hope it’s not fake!
