Formally known as Cheeky Cheeky And The Nosebleeds, The Cheek have been skirting the mainstream media outlets since their debut release 'Slow Kids' back in 2008. They've release a number of singles and their EP Thespionage, as well as gathering a cult following. The Cheek have received praise from the likes of NME and Huw Stephens, it's safe to say, some of us have been waiting years for this release to finally come around.

The album has been ready for print since around 2010, but due to every music fans biggest enemy (record labels), The Cheek were dropped from A&M Records, with there album left floating in the ether.

However, thanks to the good people at The Lost Music Club, it seems like The Cheeks 'Do Nothing' is finally seeing the light of day and I for one can't wait.

It has been produced by White Lies and Pulp collaborator Ed Buller and even features guest Saxophone from Roxy Music Legend Andy Mackay.

To get you amped up for the release, you can download a free copy of the title track 'Do Nothing' on the bands soundcloud. There is also a release show at Birthdays in Dalston on the 28th of October, with The Cheek having not played since 2010, this is a gig not to miss.
