Son Lux was formed back in 2007 by Ryan Lott and later joined by Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia. Son Lux released their last full length album "Bones" in 2015 and last year they released "Stranger Forms", en EP including reinvented versions of six songs first included in "Bones". This process was already seen after they released "Alternate Worlds" (2014) with four new versions of songs from their previous LP "Lanterns" (2013). Now they bring us "Remedy", a four-song EP inspired by social and political events. The four songs were born the week of the last USA elections and they picture the band mourning and refusing to accept the new normal. Son Lux will donate all proceeds of the sales of 'Remedy' to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of American society.
With the pre order of "Remedy" you will get "Dangerous", first single of the release, instantly.
