We’ve already seen some big releases in January and February – Maccabees, Fun, Dr Dog, Mars volta, Veil of Maya, Springsteen, Kid Cudi, Burial among others. But what are your favorite albums and disappointments so far?

Spawn Of Possession: Incurso
Alcest: Les Voyages De L’Âme
Swallow The Sun: Emerald Forest And The Blackbird
Lamb Of God Resolution
Cannibal Corpse: TortureEnjoyed all of those, liked some other records, while the only real disappointment so far is the new Terrorizer; not bad, year!

But, I just wanted to say that I personally thought the new Terrorizer was great, despite my skepticism of the band moving forward without Jesse Pintado.

Absolutist – AveMy biggest disappointments:
Veil Of Maya – Eclipse
The Human Abstract – Moonlight Sonata (Not bad but i was disappointed)
Future – Astronaut Status
Fukpig – 3 (Loved their previous releases, i don’t know what happened)

Listening to music is becoming a full time job, but luckily it’s an enjoyable job. I’m having a hard time placing the Songs of Green Pheasant, We are Ghosts and Shins albums as well.

Demon Hunter – True Defiance (no suprise, right :P )
Lamb of God – Resolution
Emmure – Slave To The Game (though I’m not so sure ’bout it)and 3 disappointments:
Celdweller – Soundtrack For The Voices In My Head vol.2
Soulfly – Enslaved
Taproot – The EpisodesOh, yeah, I would forgot… I’ve just listened to Red. Green. White by UABB. Wow… Fat tune xD Definitely, something worth listening to.

- Cloud Nothings – “Attack On Memory” – 9,4/10
- Beach House – “Bloom” – 9,2/10
- Andrew Bird – “Break It Yourself” – 8,7/10
- Django Django – “Django Django” – 8,5/10
- Grimes – “Visions” – 8,4/10I still have a pretty big list of records to cover-up, and we’re only in April. In the end of 2012 I’ll make a Top 20 (or 30), and post all my album ratings in here.
