Leading European extreme death metal extremists Benighted have revealed details of their forthcoming new album. The album, titled 'Carnivore Sublime', will be released on February 18th in North America through Season of Mist. 'Carnival Sublime' was recorded, mixed and mastered by Kristian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner Kohle keller Studios in Seeheim, Germany (Powerwolf, Agothadaimon), with additional recording by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studios. The album includes guest performances by Niklas Kvarforth (Shining) and Michael Kern (Carnal Decay).
'Carnivore Sublime' is the follow-up to the band's 2011 'Asylum Cave'. 'Asylum Cave' tells the story of a schizophrenic, delusional man and his violent obsession with notorious Austrian torturer Joseph Fritzl.
