Today Aesop Rock has released a single from the album Skelethon. Still no word on a leak though. Aesop keeps a tight grip on his tracks. The track is available on his Soundcloud to stream(http://soundcloud.com/rhymesayers/04-zero-dark-thirty/s-VFra3).

This guy puts his heart into his work. I could see how one could rationalize biting a Kanye West or Justin Bieber record, but these esoteric artists don’t move a lot of units. Just buy the fckin album.

I agree, although, I would still want to get my hands on a leaked copy and buy the album on release day.

I feel the same as @FeelC0llins,

I regularly download leaked albums from smaller, indie artists, then after the album hit the streets I buy it or at least download it on iTunes.

Yep I do the same thing. I pretty much download all albums and always buy the albums to support the artists I like. Many times I’ve preordered an album and it has leaked before I receive the album so I download it cause I can’t wait to hear it.

well any underground artist knows about making money off of torrents and file sharing if i made music i would make money regardless and the way they really make money is through shows and merch i believe in buying an album if its good but im going to download it first and buy it when i have the money cuz this is america and when shit sucks you get your money back but you cant return cds

Holy shit. Have you ever heard of a period? Here…have a few…give them a try. There are plenty more where that came from.

I already bought a pre-order copy but I’m just pissed that the physical copy doesn’t come with the iTunes bonus tracks. BS.
