Philadelphia rapper Freeway has announced both his signing to imprint label Babygrande Records and a release date for his first album since 2010s excellent The Stimulus Package.
His new album, Diamond in the Ruff, is expected to feature contributions from Wale, Musiq Soulchild, Styles P and Marsha Ambrsius, as well as production from Bink!, Jake One and Needlz.
The album will be preempted by the free mixtape, Freedom of Speech.
It has been announced that Young Guru will be mixing the entirety of the album.
