Lecrae Moore is an American Christian hip hop artist signed to Reach Records, the record label that he co-founded. He is also a member of the rap group 116 Clique, with whom he frequently collaborates. To date, Lecrae has released five solo studio albums. His latest, Rehab: The Overdose, was released on January 11, 2011. On May 10, 2012, Lecrae released a mixtape, Church Clothes, hosted by DJ Don Cannon, which was downloaded over 100,000 times in less than 48 hours. Lecrae's next project will be entitled Gravity, and is due in late 2012. Lecrae has received a Grammy Award nomination and seven GMA Dove Award nominations, two of which he won. He also won the 2010 Best Hip-Hop Music Video from the GMC Music Video Awards.

Hi,
I listened to his latest album “Gravity”.
First, it’s great album – in the aspect of the lyrics.
But I’m so sorry, from my point of view, it isn’t a Hip Hop Album.
It is a mixture of: – for the most part – electronic influences (dubstep up to dance), typical Rap vocals (mixed with Dance vocals) and slightly Hip Hop patterns/loops.
But not only Lecrae and Co. changed, respectively, change their own styles; Hip Hop generally goes Dubstep; maybe, ‘Dub Hop’ or ‘Hip Step’.
The change is of course up to each self, but it has to do not much more than what it is declared.
I would not say anything against him or bash/dis him, because he is an outstanding artist / singer as well as his powerful christian message captivate many people – me, too.
What I’m saying is that every man is changing, however, that myself, do not like this – discribed above – change.
