Canadian folk metallers Scythia have announced some details regarding their upcoming release. It will be a 7-track EP called For The Bear and features the re-recording of three Scythia tracks from the first album ...Of War, two new songs and two covers. One of the covers is of a Quebecois folk song called "Mattawa Reel" and the other is a video game medley featuring fantasy video game snippets that span the last 20 years of history. For now, you can watch the EP preview below.
The production was handled by Nick Engwar, Stu McKillop and Nick Moon, and the artwork by Mika Harju. For The Bear will be available on September 25th.
