Characters Once They Bleed

CHARACTERS was formed in late 2012 by Joonas Niskanen and Joni Kaartinen, after the decision of splitting ONE WITHOUT after almost a decade of existence.

All started out as a studio project of Joonas Niskanen, in Gothenburg/Sweden in September 2012.

Joni Kaartinen/bass decided after the split up of OW, to join the project alongside with the former original drummer of OW Olle Töpel ( Thoughts of A Secluded mind, Sweet Relief ) he quickly became the drummer of what became to be the foundation of CHARACTERS.

After weeks of auditioning at Studio JN, the band found the second guitarist and voice that fitted perfectly for the sound that the band was after and Ludvig Haby was recruited, and the first single "Save The Fallen" was recorded.

In April 2013 the band welcomes new member Marcus Bäckström, as the new main vocals/screams, and moves into a new studio facility in gothenburg/Sweden to begin the recording of their debut album "Once They Bleed" with release date set to 25th of September.
