KhaoZ is a wicked oldschool Dutch death/thrash metal band with members and former members from Sinister, Pleurisy, The Embodiment, Houwitser and Dead Head

Biography

The band KhaoZ emerged at the end of 2008, when members and former members from bands as Sinister, Pleurisy, The Embodiment, Houwitser and Dead Head joined forces. Together they started writing 5 killer death metal tracks, gorged with shredding guitars, heavy dynamic drums and sickening double vocals.

After a year of crowd crushing performances KhaoZ started recording their first MCD at the studios Drum Time and Wings of Death, get it mastered by Harris Johns (Pestilence, Sodom, Kreator) at the studio Music Lab, and they shot their first video clip for the song ‘Only to the Worm’, with help of Funeral Productions. The MCD, Twist the Knife a Little Deeper, is later digitally released by Rusty Cage Records, and the song ‘Shattered Light Insanity’ appeared on the sample CD ‘Gentle Carnage’ released by Delicious Bowels Agency.

KhaoZ continued performing various stages throughout Europe along with bands as Immolation, Sinister, Rotting Christ, Severe Torture and many others, and continued writing insanely brutal songs. In 2011 KhaoZ signed a record deal with Madlion Records, for a full length debut album called ‘Salvation Through Bloodshed’, and is released November 2011. They shot a videoclip for the new killer song ‘Damned Messiah’ at WWW Festival 2011, and continued touring and shared stages with Onslaught, Houwitser, Pandemia and Nuclear Vomit.

In January 2013, around three years after the foundation of KhaoZ, bass player CJ quit the band. KhaoZ decided to work on a new album instead of looking for a new bass player and started recording their 2nd full length album June 2013. Nine months after the breakup with CJ KhaoZ found a worthy replacement in Robin Zwiep, former bass player of the Dutch metal band Librium.
