Poliça (often written as Polica) is an American indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota with an electronic and R&B sound. The band was founded in 2011 by Ryan Olson and Channy Leaneagh who had previously collaborated in the soft rock band Gayngs.
Their first album, Give You the Ghost, was released on Valentine’s Day, 2012 and received praise from critics, including Grammy winner and Bon Iver founder Justin Vernon who told Rolling Stone, “They’re the best band I’ve ever heard.”

So good… So, so, so good…
when will you learn that a stream it’s not a leak ?!
It’s called a leak when a song or album is being put out before it is officially released. So, in my opinion, a stream is a leak.
Being “put out” usually implies for download, hence the prerequisite of specifying a download-linking site when reporting a leak.

If it’s available as an album stream, has it leaked? “Yes. If an album is available to the public, ahead of release – It doesn’t matter which file format it’s available as. And since we do allow transcoded audio to be reported as a leak, an audio stream is perfectly fine to report. Some would argue that an album needs to be in a downloadable file format to be considered a leak – But we don’t make that distinction. We also want to support the labels and artists who make music available for free and therefor make for an excellent option to illegal downloading.”

if its publicly available as a Stream, that ain’t no Leak. you can argue to death trying to link them but you need to find another word lol
While that might fit the FAQ’s dictionary definition of a leak, the major difference is that streams are almost always (or actually completely always) presided over by the record label/artist, whereas leaks are not. If you can point me to an illegal stream, I’ll bite, but a stream okayed by the label to play on NPR or at Stereogum is not a leak so much as it’s controlled early PR.
STREAMING ISN’T LEAK ! What a terrible community on this website, only focusing on points and being the first to report.

I’ve actually personally complained about this myself (David, Reid, ColFang…) – but these ARE the rules of this community… And until they update this site with a distinction, chill out and enjoy the LEAKED music.
If you want to gripe – complain about leak announcements that don’t exist… See: Gap Dream – Shine Your Light for an example…
when the site updates the leak / stream issue will be addressed (i beileve)
if users have requested to be alerted when an album leaks i’m sure those users want to know when a stream is available… lets all be friends and enjoy the music
