When the album was announced back in December it was stated that the release would be "in time for Valentine's Day". This is unlikely to happen, and a new date has not been set. The summer tour, which was said to happen, has also been disputed by the label.

It seems that Chromatics have moved on from Dear Tommy and are releasing an album called "Closer To Grey" tonight. It is unknown if this new album is actually Dear Tommy or a completely different one.

As confirmed by Chromatics instagram page, Closer To Grey is a completely different project from Dear Tommy, and Dear Tommy is still in the works for a future release.
