Sockweb are the world's first father/daughter grindcore band. After recording a joke song about pancakes together, multi-instrumentalist father Adam Young and his seven year-old daughter Joanie set about creating the most brutorable album in existence.
Werewolf is that album, and features Joanie as lead vocalist. What is remarkable is that she writes all the lyrics and approves all of her father's contributions, and she has a real ear for quality.
Werewolf is a concept album about a young girl who meets a werewolf when he hides under her bed from a storm, and follows their adventures battling bullies, vampires and witches.
With guest spots from the likes of Agoraphobic Nosebleed frontwoman Katherine Katz, and mastered by Pig Destroyer's Scott Hull, this is no gimmick album; it's a statement to the world that brutal and adorable do go together!
