Theory of a Deadman are back with two big announcements! The band has titled the new album ‘SaVages’ and the guys are eyeing a July 8 street date for the upcoming effort. The disc is their first since 2011?s very successful ‘The Truth Is …’ release.
On top of the news of the album title and release date, Theory of a Deadman are also offering a taste of the new disc in a video teaser at their website. The clip, which clocks in at just under 30 seconds, is for the song ‘Drown’ and a close-up of a notepad on the mixing board suggests that it will be released on April 22.
Connolly says of the new disc, “We went back to where we belong on this record, back to the angst, back to the darkness. We veered off the road a bit on this one, but it took us right back to where we needed to be.”
Yeah with this, Adedlitas Way and Three Days Grace coming soon we can say that Alt.Rock/Post-Grunge is coming strong this year.

drown and angels are really good. saw them perform “savages” at Carolina Rebellion… sounds like a true return to form so far

Of the songs released so far, Savages is the strongest I think- followed by Drown, Angel then Blow (not really feeling this track at all).
Hoping this album is more of a return to form (i.e. Gasoline) than what …The Truth is ended up being.
Drown is easily the weakest, you’re a total moron if you think Blow is the worst. Drown, no pun intended, has no depth, and would only appeal to mainstream idiots with vacant space between their ears. Savages and Angel are wayyyy better and Blow is just amazing

thanks man, not sure why it hasn’t been on my main sites… anyway that’s 4 for 4, but I like this one the least of the new tracks so far. sounds like their going back to their old sound again. holding off on the pre-order, hoping that best buy will have a special edition since the signed edition package I wanted sold out quickly

judging by the clips and the songs already released, this really is their best album
IMO, this is by far the strongest album TOAD has released since Gasoline. Can’t wait to see them live in September!
