Ashes From Stone began in the winter of 2012 in Woodbury, Minnesota when Andrew Owens, Eli Appletoft and Tommy Donohue met online and immediately clicked on a creative level. Tommy Donohue had been looking for band members for a project he'd already began writing, one jaw dropping jam session later and the pieces finally came together. Ashes From Stone was playing shows within the first two years opening for bands like Godsmack, Saliva, Wayne Static, Saving Abel and many more before recording their first two tracks "Illusion" and "Mine oh Mine" with producer Ian Combs in the spring of 2014. Shortly after, Ashes From Stone chose to add another member to expand their sound even more, they got exactly what they wanted with guitar player Mike Hill aka "Mike Mountain", a long time friend of the band who is also a member of the bands Fifth Hour and Caliber 39.
A rare blend of alternative, rock and metal, Ashes From Stone seeks to make a name for itself as a force to be reckoned with in the charts, on the stage, and in the minds and hearts of every fan who listens.
