The album will be titled "My Wild West," and it unintentionally documents her wanting to leave California and return to the Midwest.
"There's maybe a little more of a folk, old Western feel to it, but it's hinted at. It's not country," she said. "There's always been something about my voice, my style, that's been a little bit folk-country. ... There's very much a pop sensibility to this album, but there's hints of dusty, Wild West undertones with a little bit of folk."
Very intese, emotional album. Lissie’s voice shines bright on tracks such as “Sun Keeps Rising”, “Daughters”, and “Wild West”. This album is easily a 5/5. She gets better with each album and this goes to show.
