Prince HitNRun

The rocker announced his surprise LP Friday as part of an exclusive partnership with Jay Z's Tidal, which will find the high-quality streaming service hosting HitNRun beginning September 7th.The album, co-produced by Art Official Age's Joshua Welton, will include the previously released first single "Hardrocklover" featuring Prince's backing band 3rdEyeGirl. HitNRun was first revealed in a BBC interview in late July, with band members saying, "Super hardcore Prince fans that know every song he's ever recorded - we refer to them as 'The Purple Collective' or 'The Purple Army' - this album is absolutely for them, because it's super funky."
