Looks like we’ll be getting a new album from Rob Zombie in 2016! Zombie has shared the album art for The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser and posted a video entitled “Electric Warlock” on YouTube, teasing that “something is coming,” along with the date Jan. 11.

Rob Zombie spent much of 2015 on the road and promoting his upcoming sixth solo album. We can’t confirm a release date yet, but the record will be out in 2016. Additionally, a minute of new music from Zombie has been unveiled.

The new track, which we assume is the album’s title track, is pretty straight forward, with Rob Zombie repeating, “Electric warlock / Acid witch,” multiple times. What’s more complex is the heavy industrial elements of the instrumental section, which is some of the heaviest stuff Rob Zombie has ever put to tape.

Guitarist John 5 has put in a lot of work helping Zombie craft this album and now you can hear what the multidimensional shredder has been toying with. “We’ll just lay down really loose structures,” Zombie told us at the 2015 Loudwire Music Festival. “The songs kind of always piece together something pretty raw. Then we’ll let it sit and I’ll do vocals over that … Once I get the vocals on there, then usually John will come back and add another layer where he’ll then play guitars that go along with the vocals or accent things. We kind of keep bouncing back and forth.”

I’m excited for this album, but the track run times are a little off putting. On a 12 track album, there’s only 1 song that is over 3 minutes and it’s the last track. 3 tracks are under 1 minute and 30 seconds, and the rest of the songs are about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

Yeah, I feel the same way. But most of Zombies music is simple and pretty straight forward, not many large instrumental breaks or builds. Im not too worried though, the simpler the better in regards to his style honestly.

What the hell?!? Seriously 4 days left and nothing? This is ridiculous!! I’ve seen it where the album gets leaked weeks in advance. Pretty disappointing

Why hasn’t it leaked already? It’s only 3 days away from release. I wonder what the issue is.

LOL people complaining an album hasn’t leaked yet … it’s a good thing for the artist in hindsight

No ones complaining. It’s just shocking. His last album leaked a month early. There aren’t even reviews of this album yet — that’s unheard of.

Cmon leak dude!! I’m totally, absolutely astounded by how this played out. Haha months overdue for a leak now…wow, he really took care of buisness this time around I guess.
    Never would have guessed.

Now Manson’s next record….I’m sure we can all agree how fast that suckers gonna leak. XD

The Pale Emperor didn’t leak in advance IIRC. It was only uploaded once it was out in Japanese stores.

This is ridiculous though. 1 day before release and no leak.

Yeah but seriously The Pale Emperor is a joke. Really have to be pretending if you think Warship My Wreck and Slave Only Wants To Be King and Birds of He’ll Awaiting are good songs. I mean seriously, are people even listening to the songs that they say are good? He whales over mostly all the tracks like a good ball. Ugh..

Really though if you like the album I think that’s cool because I wish I could like it but I can’t hehe
It’s just funny because everyone (especially hipsters defend that album) “yeah but it’s so artistic and deep man. It’s his most genuise album to date!” c’mon dude really. You don’t have to defend everything he does especially when it’s boring as all he’ll. It always seems like “borning = genuise” for some reason

Heck yeah man! Rob’s stuff is great too, I wouldn’t pass it up. White Zombie just has that raw “full band sound” that I really enjoy.
