The Chemical Brothers are back with a new album called Born in the Echoes, out July 17 via Astralwerks. Guests on the album include St. Vincent, Beck, Q-Tip, Cate Le Bon, and Ali Love. They've also released a new track, "Sometimes I Feel So Deserted", premiered today on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. Listen to it below. First single "Go" featuring Q-Tip is coming Monday, May 4.
Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons' last studio album, Further, came out in 2010. They released a live album called Don't Think in 2012. In 2011, they did the soundtrack for the film Hanna. Last year, they teamed up with Miguel and Lorde for a track off the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1 soundtrack.
In an interview, Tom Rowlands said, "The most important feature of the album is that it connects with us emotionally in some way. We hope for finding a new way to make you feel. We dream of new sounds and different frames. We have worked with some guest singers but mostly the album is pure Chemical Brothers."
