What is sure to be another bright, eclectic, over-the-top collection of slightly prog pieces from the prolific Melbourne group. "On and On", the first glimpse of the album we've been given, features the welcome and familiar insanity; the usual unusualness that we've come to expect from Toehider. The recipe appears to be largely unchanged, but the song still sounds fresh. The riffs are enjoyable, the playing is tight, the lyrics are articulate, and the song just exudes character.
Fans will also be delighted to know that the EP will feature the talents of renowned drum veteran Vinny Appice (most famous for his stint in Black Sabbath).
This EP will undoubtedly be another great addition to a long list of fantastic releases by Australian prog bands this year.
