As to many people's surprise, A Day To Remember is releasing their newest full length record after repeatedly denying the existence of one for an extended period of time. This new record will be their sixth full length record. According to McKinnon, this record was constructed in the most unique fashion in comparison to their previous records. The recording experience and mixing was apparently done much different than it has been in the past. They claimed they have“completely changed the way we wrote."

ADTR Unveil 'Bad Vibrations' details

Added

The album will arrive through ADTR Records/Epitaph.

The album was produced by Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) & Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX).

Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Slayer) oversaw the mixing duties.

Frontman Jeremy McKinnon commented: “We completely changed the way we wrote, recorded and mixed this album. It was one of the most unique recording experiences we’ve ever had. We rented a cabin in the mountains 30 minutes outside of town & just wrote together in a room, which was the polar opposite of the last three albums we’ve made & working with Bill was an awesome experience. He was a bit hard to read at first, so I think we subconsciously pushed ourselves harder to try to impress him. As a result, we gave this album everything we had.”

A Day To Remember Pushes Back ‘Bad Vibrations’ Album Release Date

Added

Just as things seemed to be reaching a climax with A Day To Remember’s forthcoming album 'Bad Vibrations', the band have decided to slow their row, pushing the album’s release date back by two weeks to Friday, 2nd September.

Everything seemed to be going strong for Bad Vibrations‘s previously announced release date of Friday, 19th August, but that date is no longer a day we need to remember. **No reasoning was given for the change in dates**, which won’t have any affect on pre-orders**, however it’s probably a good business move to put as much space between your album and The Amity Affliction’s new album, which is set for release the week before the 19th. Just as a life rule, really.

Tried GETMETAL for almost an hour…just takes me to spam pages over and over. I dont buy it. This isnt my first rodeo, I have found leaks hundreds of times. I know how to avoid the spam pretty well. I’d love to hear it before Amazon ships my vinyl…

This might be their worst album yet. Very disappointing from a long time fan. Sounds completely rushed and devoid of any passion that this band previously used to thrive on. Other than the singles, these songs are rather bland and unforgettable, and that is not saying much.

coming from a looooong time fan as well…. its not the worst lol, its better then Common Courtesy and the singles were probably the weakest songs on the album, thats not to say they were even bad. I totally had some old school ADTR vibes from this album.

This might just be their best album yet. Very satisfied from a long time fan. Sounds raw and includes a wide variety of genres just as expected from this band. Not a single song I wanna skip on this album, and that says much.

I will admit, it has been growing on me. It has raw sounding pre-Homesick moments but also sees the band venturing into new territories. Upon first listen it was a major disappointment for me personally, but upon further listens its indeed growing on me.
