Williamsport, Pennsylvania-based metal act My Heart to Fear will release its new EP, 'The Draft,' on August 26 via Luxor Records. Vocalist Trevor Pool said, "'The Draft' is a new chapter for us, a reflection of how far we've all come individually these past three years since our 2012 release, 'Algorithm.' Instrumentally, we stripped down the extra add-ins and backtracks so that it is only MHTF playing live—a much more rock-based metal sound. Lyrically, the EP revolves around living in a false reality where we are sedated into submission to pre-organized wars, governing officials being involved in occult groups, and other issues that we care deeply about. We literally have never been more excited to release music; It's dark, its assaulting, it's 'The Draft.'"
