Perception of Verity was founded in early 2014. Our singer Jan and our guitarist Christian have at that time thought to found a band. The musical direction was immediately clear, brachial metal and melodious harmonies were to be united. The singer Jan got to know Thore in the period and so the idea came to found a common band. After the foundation was set, the search for the rest of the crew began. After not too long, Felix and Alex, who took over the roles on the bass and the second guitar, found themselves.
In July 2014, we released our first song "Survive" on Facebook, which gave us great feedback. With the resultant motivation it went with high productivity to the next songs. Not much later was the first and first performance at the JuBZ Walle, because in August 2014 our singer Jan left the band due to a foreign year in the USA. At the same time, we had to separate from our second guitarist Alex.
After a long search we found our new singer Jesse, who has been pushed into the band with a lot of motivation. A short time later, Sebastian was also found, who has since taken over the role as second guitarist. Since we first had to incorporate the two into our existing songs, we had to spend some time in our pro-space in the youth center Sulingen.
At the turn of the year, we were in full swing in self-production with Christian's good friend David a song to produce with this at the Heart To The Core Vol.10 Sampler. Now there is great joy on the way back to the stage, which we started with a performance at the Springsane Festival 2015 in Hude. After some concerts in the summer we got the opportunity to participate in the Local Heros Band Contest. We got a wildcard in Keisausscheid which brought us into the Nidersachen decision. There, however, was already the end of our trip, but got good feedback from the organizers and the jury.
After the Local Heros, our journey took us to the Slattery to Delmenhorst. There was a big surprise, because our former singer Jan was back from the USA. Since the contact always existed and we were looking for a clean singer, the decision was clear. Jan had to join the band again. This was communicated on the stage in the middle of the concert.
As the last point on our up to now journey we played a concert in our hometown Sulingen and with now full cast, which became a great joy for all present. Now it is with great motivation to continue to songwriting and the preparation for the first own album in the coming year.
