Since Jake and James formed the band in late 2010 through similar tastes in music and the desire to play live Roads To Nowhere have gone through huge changes with both musical influences and members but never fail in delivering hard hitting, bone-crushing songs. 2012 saw the arrival of current Vocalist Tim and in 2013 Joe took up the position of Bassist and the duties of the electronic side to the band’s music. Early 2015 saw the arrival of most recent member: Dan, since these additions the band believe they have their strongest ever line up and have already taken full advantage of this with the writing of the band’s debut album.
Taking influences from Death Metal to ambient music, Roads To Nowhere manage to find a blissful medium between Stomach-churning beat downs and atmospheric melodies that make the hairs on your skin all stand in line.
Since the release of the band’s Debut E.P ‘Dead World’ in 2013 the band have gone from strength to strength, touring around the UK and supporting bands such as TRC, Alesana and Upon a Burning Body.
After receiving a hugely positive response from the E.P ‘Dead World’ and single ‘Life:Mind’ we have taken up the task of self producing and self releasing our debut album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2016.
