Scream Blue Murder Hollow Stories

have no idea why I allowed myself to listen to this. And I am sad that I did.

This is rehashed, refried, and refunded crap. Bottom of the barrel post hardcore with tons of melodic moments and pretty widdly widdly guitar. There’s bands that sound like this that I enjoy, but those bands have actual heart and soul in their material. Scream Blue Murder honestly sound just as hollow as their album’s title, Hollow Stories. It’s like these guys grew up listening to the bands that ripped off the OGs of hardcore and post hardcore and never ventured into the source material itself, and are now aping them.

Avoid this like the plague, listen to Refused, Glassjaw and Snapcase, call it a good day
