On a black winter’s day in January 2006, Spirit of the Future Sun, was born in the Future Sun Camp in Alfdorf,Germany. Initiating members and drink-a-lots were Philipp Frick (ex- Immortal Rites), Mirko Rack (ex- Caddyshack) and Christoph Kinkel (ex- Haunted Gorge). Shortly after Aiko Semler joined the band and by the end of the year, the circle of the Future Sun was closed by Benni Weimer (Ex-Agoknight). In January 2009 we had a short eclipse of the Future Sun as Christoph decided to leave the Band, caused by further education in his job. We thank him and wish him all the best on his way. Patrick Betz joined the band one month later and closed the circle again. At the beginning of 2013 we have a small changeover at the bass and Mirko left the Band due personal reasons and Kevin Beisswenger take place at the 4 strings.
At the moment the release of the new full length album "Fortitude" with 12 Songs and 50:46 total runtime is in planing. For this album the drums were recorded at Tonstudio Würzburg by Nikita Kamprad. Guitars, Bass, Vocals, Mix and Mastering were done by Eike Freese at Chameleon Studios Hamburg. Again the photo shooting for "Fortitude" was done by Alex Kuehr. Currently is a 16 site booklet and as well a new homepage in progress. Stay tuned for further informations in the next few weeks...
