Grayceon is a post metal band from the Bay Area. The line-up includes Jackie Perez Gratz from doom metal band Giant Squid (also worked with Neurosis), as well as Max Doyle and Zack Farwell from thrash metal band Walken. They are releasing their fourth album, 'IV' (what a surprising name!) on May 18th, after a 5 year hiatus. It was recorded with Jack Shirley in Atomic Garden Studios.
This is what Jackie Pereu Gratz had to say about the lead single, 'Scorpion':
"'Scorpion' is one of our favorite songs from the album," Gratz tells Revolver of our first taste of IV. "The title 'Scorpion' was the working song title from the beginning, and it stuck so well that the title itself inspired the completion of the song and its lyrical content. It also features one of our all-time favorite Grayceon riffs and showcases IV's distinctive vocal style. Turn it up, and enjoy!"
