INFERA BRUO have announced a new album!
The album, titled Rites Of The Nameless, will be released October 16th via Prosthetic Records. It follows after the band’s 2018 full-length Cerement.
To accompany the album announcement, INFERA BRUO have released the first single, Mining Shadows For Unlight. Galen Baudhuin (vocals, guitars) says, “Mining Shadows For Unlight is probably the most straight forward song on the album. It began as a twelve minute epic, but most of it ended up being cut in favor of a more traditional structure. The lyrics refer to the process of creating life through alchemical means and the repercussions therein.”
Rites Of The Nameless focuses around inner turmoil and self reflection. The title refers to ancient unnamed societies, and the rites invoked to transform both the spirit and flesh. The notion of ritualistic alchemy and metamorphic rites of passage have been utilised as a metaphor for personal change.
The album was produced, engineered and mixed by INFERA BRUO‘s Galen Baudhuin and masted by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
