Gojira are back! Following last year’s surprise standalone single Another World, the French metal kings have now officially announced details of their highly-anticipated seventh album, and shared its awesome lead single.
The band’s upcoming LP – the follow-up to 2016’s GRAMMY-nominated Magma – is due out on April 30 via Roadrunner Records, with new single/video Born For One Thing available to check out now.
Of the song, vocalist/guitarist Joe Duplantier explains: “We have to practice detaching ourselves from everything, beginning with actual things. Own less possessions, and give what you don’t need away, because one day we’ll have to let everything go, and if we don’t, we’ll just become ghosts stuck between dimensions.”
This is going to be massive. Can’t wait!!
This is going to be the longest wait for me, but worth it.

I’m surprised more people haven’t commented here. When I was here waiting for Magma, it was a full zoo.
Never really been a Gojira fan, but may have to give this one a listen.
From what I saw on the band’s Instagram, they won’t be long in releasing the next single, details that refer to Brazil by the title of the song “Amazônia”.
I wonder which/how many songs will be instrumentals if any.

Since Kingdom Leaks shut down, discovering new artist and early leaks seems almost impossible… sigh.
KL was the best, although 9 times out of 10 getmetal scooped them on major leaks.
I know still they had the best download server, uploaded sucks IMO, also you had a endless variety of artists, hope the creators are doing great tho.
