Lots of things are happening on Ryn Weaver's Twitter. Her fans are debating over what their fanbase should be called (Basket Weavers, OctaPussies, You Gays... I'm pretty sure their messing around :D), she is tweeting pictures of the Outside Lands and Lolapalooza festival lineups (both include her), and said she'll be releasing a new song soon... wait, WHAT? On March 16, Weaver announced a new song (NOT previously released on the Promises EP) would be coming our way. Get ready guys!!!
"SO IT'S HERE... and you're all getting a song soon!"
On Thursday, Ryn Weaver dropped a new single entitled "The Fool". Weaver's vast range is displayed on this track, most notably after the first and second choruses. The best part, however, is the chorus itself. Weaver sounds tired and weary as she sings the chorus, her emotions showing through. Quickly, "The Fool" was featured on the iTunes front page (featured under the section 'Hot Tracks'). The song latched onto a space in the upper reaches of the iTunes Alternative 100, retaining a strong position of #85 during the first, second, and third days of sale. The audio of the song has already gotten over 20,000 views on YouTube, and was released the same day as Kiesza's "Sound Of A Woman" video.

SO. FREAKING. EXCITED.
ME TOO!
I haven’t been more excited about anything than this album!
