I thought Lana’s new album was the best (so far) because it really is more “Blue Jeans” and less “Diet Mountain Dew”. “Born To Die” for me was surprising when I bought it. I expected more stuff like “Video Games” and then I hear “Off To The Races” (one of my favorites off the album) and am flung off my rockers. I was amazed at what variety she squeezed in. There were only a few tracks I didn’t like, mainly “National Anthem” because, even though Lana is a bad girl, and I respect that, I disagreed with the lyrics! Though she is still amazing though. For me, “Ultraviolence” was very emotional. Though some tracks, like “Pretty When You Cry”, lacked a little something, “Old Money” and “The Other Woman” made up for it. I have to say, I like a good slow jam than a party banger, and this album is it. I know some people disagree though. Who knows? Maybe her next album will be more up. I hope it grows on you!

PS: I agree with you about the whole “behind the times” thing. Ariana has grown up! But she is, I guess mainly remembered by her shows. Hopefully, “Problem” will clear that up. On another note: did you here her new song with ZEDD, “Break Free”?
