This week the underground southern king, Big K.R.I.T. virtually leaked his own album a week before the release date. By posting a stream on NPR, piraters were easily able to record/rip the audio and distribute it worldwide. I myself have obtained a copy. Last week Big K.R.I.T. made a stop to the Bay on his Pay Attention Tour and I have to say I have never seen a more humble and talented man. At the end of his set he came down and shook the hands of everybody in the first row and even stopped to sign a CD for a fan. For this reason I definitely will be buying a copy of the album to support. I want to know what are your guys’ thoughts on pirating music. In what circumstances would you choose to purchase from and support an artist as opposed to downloading it for free? Make sure to include the last album you bought below!
