Why is it that ADTR has come out with many albums and im loving them all, but Asking Alexandria and BMTH have done the same but sound so awful (in my opinion, dont take offense). Im curious. Are they changing to keep up with the masses or adapting to how they feel?

    • I think ADTR is one of the most consistent bands out there. They have a great formula for making very enjoyable music. Asking Alexandria, I thought, did extremely well with Stand Up and Scream as well as Reckless and Relentless. Their new album was pretty rough for me though. I enjoyed the thought of Danny crossing over to a more classic rock sound because I thought it fit his voice, but every song was just so boring with no real emotion grabbing me. As for BMTH, I honestly think they have progressed so much. With every coming album, they’ve really nailed the instrumentation and even if Oli is singing more, I’d attribute that move to the condition of his vocal cords. He needs to scream less if he wants to preform longer in life. I can’t wait to see what they put out next.

    • I couldn’t agree with you more about ADTR and Asking Alexandra. BMTH I am still transitioning from chelsea smile type stuff to sempiternal. Ill be honest and havent listened to BMTH’s new stuff without having some sort of distaste for bands that change too much but idk I guess it was inevitable since his vocals went down the tube because of his screaming. But i guess in the long run ill enjoy oli’s transition than danny’s because wow ! Haha.
