Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool. All the artwork related to this album is amazing. It just takes one look at the band’s Instagram to know what I mean!
Agreed. AOTY and Album Artwork of the Year imo.
I also like the Mountains & Rainbows album art. It’s trippy and kinda sloppy but I dig it.

I liked “untitled unmastered.”‘s artwork. Reminded me of those KPM Music Library vinyls.
“Pussy’s Dead” by Autolux has a pretty cool cover. “Wildflower” by The Avalanches as well. Want to eat both of artworks. Same with Homeboy Sandman’s album, “Kindness For Weakness”.
James Blake’s cover was great. “The Life Of Pablo”s artwork was pretty cool.
“Interview 2016” by Death Grips is also kinda cool. Pretty haunting, even if it’s kinda meme-y. Also like the cover of “New English” by the Panda-guy, even if it’s “nothing special”. “Mirage” by Digitalism is pretty sweet.
For some reason I also love the cover of “Genesis” by Domo Genesis. Nice colours (great review, Harvey!)
Loved the artwork for “VIEWS” by Drake until I saw Drake sitting there. That ruined it. So dumb.
Loved the one for Rihanna’s “ANTI” as well – really cool!
My favorite is proably “Under The Sun” by Mark Pritchard. So atmospheric, and fits the album’s mood really, really well. Just as important for the musical experience as Gorillaz’ art’s for their music. Same with “A Moon Shaped Pool”. After “Under The Sun” comes “Velvet Portraits” by Terrace Martin – no idea why, but love that album cover!
Snoop Dogg’s album cover for that.. juice-thing, was absolutely terrible.
Felt the exact same way about Drake. Everyone I know thought I was crazy for mentioning that.
Got three album covers in my mind: RHCP’s The getaway, Riverside’s Love fear and the time machine and Opeth’s Sorceress.

The Amity Affliction’s This Could Be Heartbreak artwork is probably my favorite.
Also The Color Morale’s Desolate Divine artwork, Dance Gavin Dance’s Mothership artwork is pretty cool with throwbacks to their past albums.
And the artwork for The Depression Sessions by Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain & Fit For An Autopsy.
