Update: Thanks to some great Twitter followers, it should be mentioned that the previous GOOD Music season brought us 15 tracks, but only three of them ended up on the album. And two of them were either a remix or a demo. Also, Swish now has a a release date.
We’ve gotten a new Kanye West track as he’s relaunched G.O.O.D. Music Fridays. First track out is “Real Friends” and a snippet of Kendrick Lamar collaboration “No More Parties In LA”, listen to the tracks on our SWISH album page. Hopefully we’ll get confirmation if this track is to feature on SWISH or not.
Personally, I think this is great. Mellow and nice. As stated in now-deleted tweets by West, “Real Friends” was self-produced and features a “sample by Frank Dukes and Boi-1da”. “No More Parties In LA” was produced by Madlib and includes a sample from Ghostface Killah’s ‘Mighty Healthy’ that West previously used on “New God Flow”.
Kim K tagged SWISH along with the title of the song, so it’ either on the album or a bonus, and someone on the song’s Genius comment section made a good point about the outro melody of Real Friends being similar to ‘Wolves’, so it might lead into ‘Wolves’ on the album.
This is awesome, i actually do think these songs will make it to the album since there are only 5 weeks untill the release date. On the other hand, releasing 5 songs and the singles Only One, All Day and kind of releasing Wolves makes it 8 songs so it might be a bit much if these all make it on the album. Unless he’s making a 20 song album ofcourse that would be amazing
