Always thought I was alone on here @newface23. Favorite album/song and why?

I’m going to say Mongrel is my favorite album of theirs because of the aggressive lyricism, the drumming, and the experimentation/addition of other genres in some tracks. I’m going to give it a listen sometime soon again since it’s been a while. I’m interested in knowing which is yours now!
They all have their merits. ‘Mongrel’ really got me into them but ‘Worse Than Alone’ was such a giant leap from Nuclear. Drumming was better from John. Alex’s guitar playing was so much more but still less at times. Equally as intense but just in a different way than ‘Mongrel,’ was more focused. “The Weekly Wars” has always been a favorite and each album has standouts for me. “Jay Walking Backwards” is probably an all time go to track though. Worse Than Alone is a huge success for the band imo, even judging from the first couple songs, which are the ones I’m more familiar with and are my faves. Jay Walking Backwards is great and Grandfather from Mongrel. Have you looked into other projects from the members of Number 12? Like most recent ones? I’m curious if they’ve been into making music since.
Alex had some solo things. John was doing Sawtooth Grin for a bit but I’m unsure if that’s still going on. Others are just living lives I believe. Justin in married and shoots photography for a living it seems. Happier and healthier I would say. Jesse does film things and works closely with Foxy Shazam. Think they’d do a few shows down the road maybe but as far as a new album the band is done.
