I really enjoyed the first two albums. I do hope they add more variety to the third album though. It might just be me but i felt like Coexist was just an extension of their self titled. I love their vocals and instrumentation id like to see them push their limits with this next album.

You can check out a couple of new songs on youtube from shows in Marfa and at the Guggheneim Museum in NY. In an interview, Jamie said that The Rest is Noise “definitely influenced” the production of a new xx song.
Seems like a good thing to me: I think they should try stretch outside their comfort zone too! :)
