The Chariot Scheduled to Enter Studio in May, Tease Billy Corgan Collaboration
Metalcore giants The Chariot have confirmed studio time this coming May to record the follow-up to their 2010 effort Long Live. To make matters more interesting, the band teased a possible collaboration with music icon Billy Corgan.
Speaking on the matter via twitter, the band confirmed studio time while sending a public message to The Smashing Pumpkins frontman himself, “Hey @Billy, we are recording in May and would love to get you involved in someway.” No word yet has surfaced on whether or not Corgan has agreed to lend his services.
The Chariot formed in 2003 after band frontman Josh Scogin decided to leave Norma Jean. Since then, both bands have gone on to release multiple full-lengths. This will be The Chariot’s fifth studio LP (not including the Unsung EP that was released in December 2005).
Hell yes. Very excited to hear what this will sound like. Anyone listened to those ‘Music of a Grateful Heart’ b-sides?
