On February 16, 2015 Skillet announced they were writing material for a new album with recording to begin in June with a potential release in the late half of 2015 or early 2016. On May 20, 2016 the album's title, Unleashed, was announced and is to be released on August 5, 2016 on Atlantic Records as stated in Wikipedia.
“I wanted to make an album that could make people feel the music,” said Skillet’s John Cooper. “I always aim to write songs to which people can relate, but this time I wanted to see not only how the songs would connect lyrically, but also how they’d connect musically.”
The band is kicking things off with an anthemic rocker titled “Feel Invincible” and you can hear and see the song in the lyric video above. Other songs highlighted in the press release announcing the album include the memorable album closer “The Resistance,” and standout cuts “Back From the Dead,” “Stars” and “Out of Hell.”
As stated, Skillet’s Unleashed will drop on Aug. 5, but you can go ahead and pre-order the disc via Amazon, iTunes and GooglePlay. Skillet will return to the road on May 28 in Denmark, rolling through Europe until early July, after which they’ll return stateside. See all of their dates via their website. via Loudwire.

This is going to be an incredible album! It’s got a nice mix of the classic Skillet sound, the more blatantly Christian messages permeating the last half of their previous record “Rise,” and an interesting mix of current pop-like sounds that are present in music today. Skillet continues to maintain relevance in a world constantly changing with yet another strong release.

These files stem from Soulseek, and it keeps on spreading. I assume there’s a smart PR person on the label doing this.

I think this album may have leaked but I’m not officially reporting it cuz I can’t be sure, I can’t download an album as a whole my internet provider detects it and shuts off my internet but for some reason I’m capable of downloading individual mp3’s, makes no sense but that’s my internet service providers rules. I’m waiting for a site to post it with individual mp3 downloads but 14 hours ago this album was supposedly posted to a site and it had a lot of comments on it saying that the album was amazing so i’m pretty sure it’s a real leak. Not gonna say the name of the site cuz I don’t wanna get in trouble but yeah anybody paying any attention to this, check it out. If I’m right let me know.

Unfortunately, it does not work. It’s just another thing trying to get you to do verifications that don’t work and the comments on it are fake.
Thanks for trying it out for me, I’ve been watching but so far I haven’t seen any other links. I’m gonna take a guess and say probably Wednesday or Thursday it will leak, but we may get lucky and get it today or tomorrow.

i think about a year ago they let you know about the album leaking almost a week before it’s released, now you get the album on the day it releases as a leak. with 4 days to go you think it would have a LEGIT leak by now. i’m hyped as shit for this album to, and if i like what else i hear from it i won’t have any regrets buying the physical copy.

Pretty sure the website says you can’t give LINKS. doesn’t say anything about naming the site. Any time I’ve seen a leak go live on here they always list the source of where it can be found. just not a link. Meaning they go “hey i found it on google” rather than “www.google.com”. That’s my understanding. Is that not right?
I saw the post too, someone also asked them this morning if it would leak and they said “Preorders are arriving, so it shouldn’t be long now” so I would be really surprised if it didn’t leak tonight, especially after that “subtle” tease.
You can say the website but you can’t give a link and I wanted to write KingdomLeaks but I had in mind that they might post a different album :P
It’s leaking tonight for sure! I just got confirmation from a source, the guy stays anonymous even I don’t know who he is but when he says something is leaking it’s accurate.

But is it really 320kbps thought? They could just re-encode 128kpbs into 320kbps and unless you have a really good ear, you won’t be able to tell the difference.
UPDATE: I put the mp3s into a spectrogram and saw that every 320kbps version I’ve found so far was just 128kpbs bumped up. If you guys want the real 320kbps versions, they would probably be released tomorrow when the digital version leaks since currently, only the CD version is leaked.
