A Day to Remember from Florida formed in 2003 and are being described as a metalcore/pop-punk/rock band. The bands current line-up include Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Josh Woodard, Alex Shelnutt and Kevin Skaff. The band is set to release their new album "Common Courtesy" October the 8th.
An album which have seen a lot of delays. Common Courtesy was announced by the band with a countdown included. Once the countdown hit zero, first single "Violence (Enough Is Enough)" was released. This was back in December and since there's been a lot of speculation when the album actually will be released. On March 18th, Jeremy McKinnon, announced on Twitter that "Common Courtesy is officially tracked! Now, onward to mixing.". Still no official track list.
The band announced Friday night at a show in Michigan that the judge ruled that they could release their album October 8, without Victory. Here is the live video of that announcement.

Haha it didn’t leak because no one outside of the band has the album though I’m sure maybe some reviewers got send a download at some point yesterday or today. It probably wont leak before the release date either.
Well I haven’t been a fan for too long, but just found out they had a court case and so now it’s being released independently :b So makes sense to me now :b haha gee can’t wait !!!

Depends where you are on Tuesday and what time they’ll send the email. E.g Im in Australia, so it’s 9:13pm but in Washington its 6:13am, So i wont get the email until Wednesday morning…or unless I stay up and wait for it. SO, What Separates Me From You is my Tuesday album. :P

He’s drawn the FTWHH and WSMFY cover art, and I’m assuming Common Courtesy’s as well. Pretty sure he does a lot of their merch designs too. You’ll usually see ADTR wearing his own brand, Hot Life.
A lot of my ADTR shirts were designed by him I love his work.
I have gotta say that I have been lurking around this comment section for like 10 months now, desperately scrambling for any news on the album. But now that it’s finally almost here I just want to thank you guys for consistently posting news on the lawsuit, new songs, and random speculation. It made this agonizing wait a whole lot easier. You guys showed me that the ADTR fans are truly one of the best.

I saw them last night in Columbus which surprisingly sold out and they were fucking fantastic. I caught the second half of The Wonder Years set, skipped ATL, made my way up to the second row during PTV and when they were done playing the PTV fangirl in front of me wanted out. I also caught a pick from Neil and a shirt from Santa! I’ll never get sick of listening to these guys or seeing them live and if I have to wait two days to hear the full album, then so be it.
The Wonder Years are great.. did they play any new songs besides Cul-De-Sac?
I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’m not a die-hard Wonder Years fan like I am with ADTR. I recognized Passing Through, Don’t Let Me Cave In, and Came Out Swinging.

Its 10 bucks, that’s cheaper then most albums on release date. Btw, this is a independent release so this album will make or break the band.
From one ADTR fan to the next, if you do happen to get the leak, please support the band if you enjoy the album
The way I see it, I buy the record, I feel so much better for the supporting the band AND the money will probably go towards a drink for one of the guys hahaha. Seriously though, if it does leak and you listen to it, buy the album as well it’s so cheap for how much you’d get out of it and you’d help them out soo much!
It probably wont leak and buy it please, 10 dollars is not a lot of money and in this case they deserve the purchase more than they have in the past. You can find the pre-order on there main site so check it out there.
It probably won’t leak until release day, which means you might aswell buy it and get the proper copy, ensure a good quality copy, and support them, especially as it’s now all off their own backs being self produced. Most of these bands that have cut the cord with their labels understand how albums can leak or even just end up pirated after release, and some just want you to hear it, but as this was self produced without any input from fans (Indiegogo etc) they would have spent a small fortune for studio time, throw them $10.

Worryingly, some of the comments have been deleted, but a guy on kingdom leaks was spouting about the band announcing something, but looking through Facebook/Twitter for the band and Jeremy, and there’s nothing.:(

It would be great, but i only believe when a reliable source post it. I don’t think they’ll release anything until tuesday cause even winning, they didn’t have spoken about tracklist and some sort of single ): let’s wait!
The guy who runs that site has also put it on his Facebook that he’ll be “giving us a taste of ADTR later (9pm)” Which is probably bullshit too, but we’ll see…well, i’ll be asleep, but it’ll only be a day till release when i wake up.:)

I would completely believe a new song tonight what better way to promote your new album than a new song before its out because not all ADTR fans scoop through interviews and blogs to find these things out they need a new song handed to them in order to be informed.
I’d expect something today and if not 100 percent tomorrow.

I’ve been following this post ever since Common Courtesy was announced last year and I’ve been an ADTR fan for a good five years now and I live in the UK so the opportunity to see ADTR aren’t as high as if I was in the US and as I live 5/6 hours drive away from any place they’d play, I’ve finally had enough and I’m trying to persuade my parents to drive me into London to their show in February next year, I said to them it can be my christmas present + birthday present + I’ll pay for petrol, pay for their meal out and pay them for the favour, they seem pretty adamant at the moment so what would you guys say a good point to put across to them to persuade them? I really really REALLY wanna go but I can’t get there any other way really, I’d appreciate any help whatsoever and I can’t waaaait for the record Tuesday!! Thanks guys!
Where do you live dude? Couldn’t you make a different venue? Or even go by train?
I live in South England so there’s one in London (closest) or one in Birmingham (a few more hours) or Scotland which.. well, that’s impossible hahaha, they said they don’t want me getting the train back at midnight cause there’s three transitions and I have to take the underground at 3AM :(
That’d be some expense to pay for them to go too and dinner etc, the only other way round it would be to go with friends, if they trusted you, and stay over in a Travelodge and then come back the next day, the Southgate one is the closest to Alexandra Palace, i’ve been myself, it’d mean using the tube as it’s a couple of miles away, but worth it really.
Yeah I know :/ But I’ve saved up around £500 now so even though I doubt they’ll take it anyway, it shows I’m determined! Yeah my friends don’t really like ADTR, I have one or two but I tend to keep it to myself and just blurt about it on forums :L Is it that rough around Alexandra Palace? I’ve never been really, I’ve been to Central London and that’s it!
Tbh buddy, it’s not rough, i mean anywhere in London at that time of night can be a bit sketchy, but it’s a wednesday, you can get the tube at Wood Green and then a bus if you want which stops right outside the palace, and then going back is the same, although the last train is midnight.

It only makes sense for them to release a new song today or tomorrow. They were trying to get us hype in December for the record.. now it’s two days before, they sure as hell will be trying to get us even more hype.. it only makes sense!

They will probably throw out a lyric video for a new song or a little music video. I can’t imagine them making a massive production music video probably something like them playing as a band in a room or a collection of clips of them on tour.
