A Day to Remember from Florida formed in 2003 and are being described as a metalcore/pop-punk/rock band. The bands current line-up include Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Josh Woodard, Alex Shelnutt and Kevin Skaff. The band is set to release their new album "Common Courtesy" October the 8th.
An album which have seen a lot of delays. Common Courtesy was announced by the band with a countdown included. Once the countdown hit zero, first single "Violence (Enough Is Enough)" was released. This was back in December and since there's been a lot of speculation when the album actually will be released. On March 18th, Jeremy McKinnon, announced on Twitter that "Common Courtesy is officially tracked! Now, onward to mixing.". Still no official track list.
The band announced Friday night at a show in Michigan that the judge ruled that they could release their album October 8, without Victory. Here is the live video of that announcement.
Just wondering guys, has anyone received the email notifying you that your CC pre-order has been shipped, I’ve only gotten the order confirmation and I thought it was meant to ship on the 4th. I just want it to ship as soon as possible is all because I live in Australia haha. Thanks everyone.
I only got the confirmation as well but the money from my bank I used to buy the album was taken out of my account of the 4th so I guess that means my order was processed? I wouldn’t worry I’ve ordered from that site before and never got more than the original confirmation email plus you got the original confirmation email so your email obviously works :)

I think it has something to do with us living outside of America as well but like I said dont worry! :) I agree it’s a great bargain especially if you are lucky enough to be one of the first 1000 to order it and get yourself an autograph but even without that still a great package all the same :)
Yeah I think you’re right. I’m definitely not in the first 1000 because I didn’t have the money when pre orders opened but I’m very sure one of my mates got it and I’m so jealous haha.

I very much like the sound of this, but if it’s nothing I won’t be too disappointed.
Just earlier people were posting here how another news site had some ADTR related coming at 9 and if you factor in different USA time zones it could be related though im not sure what time zone propertyofzack is in.

There are only a few Go Radio songs that I like. But it’s always sad when a talented band decides to quit. I’m glad I got to catch a few minutes of their set at Warped Tour.
As far as ADTR, I personally don’t think we’ll hear anything until the album is delivered to everyone’s email.
Well if we don’t hear anything we have State Champs new album to listen and Dayshell’s (Ex-Clean vox from Of Mice & Men) new album just leaked so there’s something to hold us over too

I gotta say, Dead & Buried represents everything that I could ever want from ADTR. It’s heavy, the chorus is melodic as usual, there’s a couple breakdowns, and my new favorite thing.. they used a bass drop. Sure they use bass drops like crazy live, but they’re barely even present on their records. The first bass drop to the studio version of Dead & Buried is HUGE!
what do you mean when you say bass drop? don’t understand it very well since i’m a drummer
I never realized it would be hard to explain a bass drop. I usually hear them right after a break in the song. All the instruments hit at one time with the bass being extra powerful. I really don’t know how else to explain it haha. Maybe someone else can

Haha… guys, a bass drop is not played with an actual bass guitar. The sound is programmed into an electronic pad on the drum kit. When the drummer hits the pad, the bass drop sounds. Basically, bass drops are used to put emphasis on a part of a song. It is hard to explain though.. there are videos on it if you just type in bass drop pads on google.

I remembered wayyy back before they announced the name of Common Courtesy wikipedia claimed that there was gonna be a single called “This Is Not What We’re Supposed To Be” that was a cut from WSMFY but that’s probably changed who knows though.

YES! I love MMF! I can’t wait to hear new stuff. I was really disappointed for some reason they never did a US headliner for Challenger… All opening tours. They were mainstage warped but that doesn’t really count. I’ve heard Issues, Of Mice & Men, Blink-182 albums too next year. Who else?
