Not even. There’s no play buttons…
Yeah, they ended up being pulled a few days later. Sorry about that.
At the time of Tom’s announcement of his transgender lifestyle, and not fully understanding trans at all still, I was expecting their new album to somehow morph into this riot girl type music. I was thrilled to imagine a revamped female Against Me.
Well, after hearing two singles – F-mylife-666 & Black Me Out – that imagination was shattered but quickly replaced with a same level of enthusiasm. The vocal now sounds more melodic in a way only females can, but retains that pissed off attitude we all come to love. It’s still masculine but more emotionally fragile.
Trans Dysphoria Blues is the first album I’m looking forward to in 2014! 11 more days! Can’t wait!
This has leaked. A vinyl rip is available on what.cd… except that what.cd has been down for the better part of the last 2 weeks due to ddos attack(s).
Thanks! After listening to the whole album, which is only 29 minutes or so in total, I feel this album is easily my favorite of theirs. It’s aggressive and raw with a tint of polish.
As much as I love their two previous albums, I’m glad they decided not to work Butch Vig because this rawness wouldn’t have been possible.
At a recent interview, (seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG38diguoZI ) Laura stated that she wanted to go for something that sounded like a mix of the Sex Pistols and the New York Dolls. Well, I think they did, without sacrificing their own identity.
Love it!

Thanks for the leak guys, and the stream @Justin. I think I’ve been waiting for this album for 2 years. Hope it’s worth the wait… here goes!
