South African hip-hop crew Die Antwoord will return in February with their sophomore LP, TEN$ION. Spanning 13 tracks, the album was recorded and produced in South Africa by DJ Hi-Tek with additional production by Die Antwoord’s own Ninja.
In November 2011, Die Antwoord left Interscope Records over a dispute concerning their upcoming album and its lead single. Die Antwoord formed their own independent label, Zef Recordz, and will release their new album via their imprint ZEF Records. The group’s label will work in association with Good Smile, with Downtown Records and COOP Music handling global distribution.
