Ephel Duath is an exceptional italian band - music they play is most often regarded as a ''jazz-metal''. After two years of hiatus, Davide Tiso (the vocalist) ressurected ED and now, joined by the bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Testament, Sadus), Karyn Crisis (Crisis, Karyn Crisis Band) and Marco Minnemann (Paul Gilbert, Necrophagist, Tony MacAlpine) on drums, plans to release an album. Band's newest project (EP ''On Death and Cosmos'') will concentrate around “death and abandonment, loss and self- transforming will: a dive into the darkness, that can reveal a new birth in light.”
