Living Things is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Linkin Park. It is set for release on June 26, 2012 through Warner Bros. Records. Production was handled by co-lead vocalist Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, who both co-produced the band's two previous studio albums, Minutes to Midnight (2007) and A Thousand Suns (2010)
The band has stated that the album features a new direction in their music, combining the rap rock sounds of their debut album, Hybrid Theory (2000) and the electronic mixes of A Thousand Suns, whilst keeping a brand new, original sound.

It’s alright in my opinion. I give it 6/10. Have to get used to the sound first. Burn it down and Castle of Glass are the two that stand out for me.

well, it kinda has leaked. iTunes made a Full Album Stream available eralier today. Probably a mistake due to the fact that a “normal” streaming was supposed to start on June 19th in Germany and June 18th in other Countries. So, some clever people ripped the Stream and put online somewhere, someplace. hope this helps. if not: gidf.de (don`t worry mods, its just google ;-) )

Fan since 1999, it did leak, and it is an awesome album. A little short as usual, but old fans and new fans should really like this album. Minutes to Midnight was there worst full album for me, I think they were growing, then ATS was stronger and this one hits is perfect, old school, Mike at his best rapping to date hands down, little screaming strong chester, some soft chester, old school break beats, techno, brad even sings, the whole ablum start to finish is awesome, needs 3 more tracks, which I am sure will come later, B sides, but man GREAT TO HAVE LP BACK. ATS was close, this was right on perfect.

Okay well I just stat and listened to this album in it’s entirety. I know I’m going to get some hate for this, but from one listen through, i can only pick out three or four good songs from this release. I’m kind of disappointed… I LOVE LP too… Maybe a couple more listens through will soften my heart towards this album. What happened…?
You know I felt the same way when I first listened to “A Thousand Suns”. I haven’t listened to this one yet, but no matter what, I will learn to love it, cos thats wat happened the last time… Sometimes it takes more than once to actually feel the greatness about their songs… I hope they make many more records…

This one was kind of reverse of A Thousand Suns for me. When I first listened to that I didn’t much care for it, but learned to like it. When I first listened to these songs they were amazing, now they are alright, pretty good, but none of the songs really stand out, except maybe “Powerless”.
Living Things is fucking brilliant, their best record.
After all this years since 1996 till now they learn new things,get new sounds,new toolboxs and now this is the work of that 16 years on 12 songs.
Highlights: Best Song: Hard one, all songs are great
-In My Remains except Skin to bone, i may have to
-Lies Greed Misery listen that a couple more times.
-I’ll Be Gone
-Roads Untraveled
-Until It Breaks
-Powerless
Listening to the record we can all see some influence of all previous records and one new movement (genre a little more electronic but a hard electronic rock style.
Congrats LP, 10/10
