This is the sixth album from the UK group. Wolstenholme stated that the next Muse album would be ?something radically different? from their prior releases. It?s titled The 2nd law and is due out in October. And yes, the album trailer contained elements of dubstep, making some fans furious.
New single, "Madness", is out. And it's not what you think it is. Discussion is below.

Okay, here is the deal. The album is currently on a number or Scene file servers. If you aren’t part of the scene you won’t be getting to listen to it until the physical album ships out to stores from storage in the next week.
The album goes on sale on the 28th in some territories, expect a leak no sooner than the 24th/25th.
Commenting is futile. Any links posted on the web before the above days will be fake. You have been warned by someone in the know.

You should give us the first couple of lines from one of the songs we haven’t heard. That way we have something to get excited over and when the album drops we’ll know you weren’t trolling.

Not sure if it is real because you have to be a premium member of the download website, but it looks pretty real.
I would advise all of you to stay away from this website. A lot more of these will be popping up over the next few days, all it does is generate revenue for whoever uploaded it. And if you think a CD+DVD rip will fit in a 102MB archive…then you deserve whatever virii you get.

I love how up in arms everyone is about their new album. People are so pissed about what they’re doing, but it’s not like Matt Bellamy is forcing anyone to listen to it. They’re obviously not doing just whatever will please people, otherwise this whole string of comments wouldn’t be so heated. Artists should be allowed to explore new grounds and ideas, instead of being stuck in a cage making music that all sounds the same.

I don’t reckon it has leaked anywhere yet, personally – I doubt it will be long now, though. Anytime from the weekend onwards would be a safe bet. Someone pointed out that the band might actually stream it themselves soon, considering how they’re fussy about quality and there’ll be loads of phone videos doing the rounds after tonight’s gig in Cologne.
Whatever the case, it won’t be long now.
What are you talking about? The fact that I haven’t named any groups is exactly why I can openly discuss them. What does it matter that I’ve got identifiable information on here? I’ve said nothing that connects me to any site and I do not join Scene sites with the same information as is presented here.
Quite frankly, with nonsense talk like that, I would be amazed if you were genuinely part of any scene group. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.
And having a stab at the leak date proves nothing. Since that date is about 4 days before release which is traditionally the most likely time frame anything will be leaked shipping schedules.
This is the last post I’ll be writing to you, because I try limit how much time I dedicate to responding to obvious and clueless trolls.
The album will only leak when we release to the public. The Scene has a lot more power than you think.

I’m part of the scene and I haven’t ran into any copies of the album. I just don’t see why any warez group would wait to release it when they can leak the BIGGEST album of the year and take all the credit for being “over a week early”. Every day counts for these types of people.

From what she told me, the album got shipped out about 3 days ago so I find it amazing how how nobody got their hands on it yet. She’s now off work, album should be up soon. How do we share it on this website?

Honestly Explorer, why not just leak it? If you do have it, you have to understand why people are doubting you as you are just basically telling us to say “I have it you don’t. hehe,” no matter how you justify it.

You guys need to chill out. The album will be released In October. Checked the release history on wiki and it’s due out in a week most places. When it has leaked it will be reported, until then some may have it, they may not.
If you’re waited years since ‘The Resistance’ for new Muse, another week and a half won’t kill you.

I’m pretty sure that was from the fake setlist. They played (in order) Supremacy, Interlude, Hysteria, Panic Station, Resistance, Supermassive Black Hole, Animals, Time Is Running Out, Save Me, Madness, Uprising, Follow Me, Plug In Baby, Knights of Cydonia, Stockholm Syndrome, Starlight and Survival.
