Since forming in 2007, Los Angeles indie-pop band Saint Motel have been known for their raucous live shows (they’ve thrown several Valentine’s zombie proms) and a sound that favored anthemic bursts of rhythm. For their debut album Voyeur (due out July 10th via On the Records), the band infused elements of tropical, Latin, big band, and retro music in an aim to avoid creative stagnation and keep their momentum perpetually upward.
