Seriously the album is really great! But my favorite is still A Shipwreck in the Sand.

Yeah this is a little better than Rescue for me. I wish they would make some longer songs instead of keeping them 3 and a half minutes and making 3 of the songs under 2 minutes :/. Shipwreck and their first two albums still blow this out of the water (in my opinion). 4/5

I don’t know why, but for some reason I could never get into the first album, just like Short Songs… My personal ranking of the albums is: Shipwreck – Discovering the Waterfront – Arrivals and Departures – Rescue – When Broken is Easily Fixed – Short Songs. This one will probably rank between DtW and A&D for me.

The first album has always been special to me because it’s their heaviest and I was really into metal when I got into the band. The album also has a lot of great melodies and riffs considering its their first. I’d rank this album between broken and arrivals and departuresprobably. Not sure if this album is going to get many listens from me. Maybe I’m just outgrowingSilverstein or maybe I’m just upset that their last 3 efforts haven’t been that amazing. I don’t even consider short songs an album lol
