March 20th is the official release date. They announced it when they released Simple Song. Check the website.

The site has a lot of promise, when I first heard about this album I came on here and thought “I’ll have to keep an eye on this”, then Simple Song was released and it showed up on here, but that’s kinda where this site stopped updating. Along with the songs release was the release date of the album, “March 20th”. Someone (Ron) even made it a point to comment about it, but the page still shows the release date as March 31st. They’ve also released the track “September”, but there’s nothing about that posted. Maybe it’s a lack of users or user interest in this album, but I just feel like this site is lacking a little in the “news updating” department. Oh and, I like the idea that three regular users have to confirm it has leaked before it becomes official, but it kinda bugs that for weeks now one person claims the album has leaked, which it clearly hasn’t. I feel like the site should remove that, there are tons of fake leaks out there and if someone sees this and thinks “oh man, Port of Morrow leaked!” and then downloads some bullshit virus or spyware or pays for some whack subscription, it might reflect poorly on the site (not nearly as much as the fool who fell for the fakes, but still.) That’s just my little rant. Not very solutions oriented or anything, I don’t mean to offend the people who run the site, I just honestly meant what I wrote, I wish this site was as awesome as it could be. (and for the record, I’ve only checked out this one album, so for all I know everything else is awesome.)

It wouldn’t be as frustrating if it weren’t for the fact that the last two James Mercer albums leaked SUPER early. Wincing the Night Away in October (January release) and Broken Bells in December (March release).

Hasn’t leaked as far as I can see. And IF those past two albums have leaked as early before I’m sure all attempts are made to prevent that for a third time. Be patient. Please remember, Has It Leaked Is a place that reports leaks. We have no say over when an album leaks.

I don’t think anyone was implying this site has any say in the speed of the leak, but rather, were just expressing how much we want it to so we can hear it. That’s at least the case for me.

You can stream the album from iTunes so it’s just a matter of time before someone puts full album online :)

Finally getting around to this. Not bad at all. I don’t know what I was expecting but I could certainly listen to this on repeat for a few days. What do you think about it thus far?
